We Have a Third Stop Stealth Dorms Champion

On Tuesday November 5th Council Member Kathie Tovo joined Council Member Mike Martinez and Council Member Chris Riley in sponsoring a resolution to lower occupancy limits (6 to 4 11) in single-family neighborhoods. The resolution requests City Staff to initiate an occupancy reduction ordinance for the Council to consider by January 30th and to continue the stakeholder process. The resolution was on the consent calendar for the City Council meeting on Thursday November 7th.  Although this resolution was not an ordinance and only asked the City staff to prepare an ordinance for consideration, Council Member Bill Spelman pulled it from the consent calendar.  Once the ordinance is sent to City Council, the process of public review and input will take place and only then will it be voted on by the Council.
